Job Description: -
• Design, preparation of reports/drawings and specification for Electrical building services, supporting bid process, construction administration, peer review.
• As an expert, the candidate will also be required to attend and provide input in design meetings, clear advice to clients, architects, and engineers (internal and external) on design principles/issues relating to new systems and any refurbishment works.
• Should be good in leading team and mentoring, driving innovation, reviewing work and motivation.
Candidate Specification: -
• Should have 15+ years of experience in Electrical design field related projects.
• Performing all aspects of electrical engineering design as a lead engineer, including Conceptual Studies, Program Requirements, Design Analyses, Calculations, Equipment selection and layout, and System selection and layout for building design and site electrical utilities
• Strong experience in the design of building power distribution, lighting, Earthing & Lightning protection, Fire Alarm systems, is desirable.
• Excellent knowledge in Electrical software – Amtech pro design, Dialux, Discrimination studies and load flow analysis
• Commanding knowledge in international standards such as IEEE, CIBSE, IES, HTM, NFPA & BS
• Basic experience in other MEP systems – HVAC, PH, FF
• Experience in Revit and Navis work review
• Client facing/client relationship/client management skills and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Project management skills to include budget control, interdisciplinary coordination, good Client service skills and ability to meet Client requests and deadlines within budget.
