Open House: Graduate Mechanical/Electrical Engineer – Mott Macdonald Thailand

Mott MacDonald Thailand is recruiting future Graduate mechanical/electrical Engineers through a dedicated early‑talent pipeline designed to develop high‑potential students into full‑time Graduate Engineers upon completion of their degree. Our Bangkok-based engineering team delivers a comprehensive range of mechanical/electrical design services, covering all project phases from feasibility studies and concept development through preliminary engineering, detailed design, and construction support. Leveraging strong technical expertise, proven project experience, and various engineering tools, we provide practical, value-engineered, and constructible solutions tailored to project-specific requirements. All designs are developed in accordance with applicable international standards and codes, and worldwide engineering practices, ensuring technical excellence, efficiency, safety, and long-term project performance.

As a pioneer in mechanical/electrical consultancy, our focus is on delivering excellence, technical quality, and sustainable impact. Through this pipeline program, selected students and young professionals will gain hands‑on project exposure, structured learning, mentoring from global experts, and access to industry‑leading digital tools—all designed to prepare you for a seamless transition into our Graduate role.

You will also be part of the vibrant Mott MacDonald Graduate community, which provides technical seminars, mentoring, networking opportunities, and holistic early‑career development support.

The Opportunity

This early‑talent pipeline is designed for 4th year engineering students and fresh graduates who aspire to build their career in mechanical/electrical consultancy. Through this role, you will:

  • Contribute to diverse infrastructure and transportation projects across Asia, and international markets through the development of 3D BIM models and digital engineering solutions.
  • Be part of multidisciplinary design teams, gaining hands-on experience in local design practices through real-world project delivery and collaboration with regional experts.
  • Receive close mentoring, coaching, and technical guidance from senior engineers.
  • Work with advanced 3D engineering software and real‑time technical tools used across Mott MacDonald globally.
  • Explore a wide range of design technologies and gain hands-on experience through their application in local and regional projects.
  • Grow your capabilities and performance through technical engineering expertise, knowledge sharing, and technology transfer, building sustainable competencies for long-term career success.

This role is ideal for students seeking long‑term growth with the intention to continue with us as a Graduate Renewable Energy Engineer after graduation.

Equality, diversity and inclusion

We put equality, diversity and inclusion at the heart of our business, seeking to promote fair employment procedures and practices to ensure equal opportunities for all. We encourage individual expression in our workplace and are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels they have the opportunity to contribute.

Agile working

At Mott MacDonald, we believe it makes business sense for you and your manager to choose how you can work most effectively to meet your client, team and personal commitments. We embrace agility, flexibility and trust.
