Engineering Geologist (2026 Graduate Program)

Engineering Geologist supports the market strategy by assisting senior staff in providing accurate geological input for safe and efficient project design. It helps the company meet technical and regulatory standards in slope and ground investigation works. Through clear documentation and coordination, the engineering geologist contributes to client satisfaction and ongoing business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist senior staff in carrying out geological and geotechnical assessments for a wide range of public and private sector projects.
2. Undertake field mapping, site inspections, and assist with geological interpretation and slope stability assessments.
3. Support the planning, supervision, and interpretation of ground investigation works.
4. Prepare technical reports, drawings, and project documentation under the guidance of senior team members.
5. Apply geological and geotechnical software to support data analysis, interpretation, and engineering assessments.
6. Support coordination with internal teams, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, Engineering Geology, or a related discipline.
• A Master's degree in Applied Geosciences, Engineering Geology, or a related field is an advantage.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in engineering geology, geotechnical engineering, or related projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with geological and geotechnical software and programming tools such as Python is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Good written and spoken English, with the ability to contribute effectively to technical reports and project documentation.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrates initiative, takes ownership of assigned tasks, and is willing to learn from senior team members.
