Working for Mott MacDonald Bentley, you will work on major water and wastewater schemes throughout all phases of the project from feasibility through to construction. With an annual turnover surpassing £500 million, Mott Macdonald Bentley cements its position as a leader within the industry. The sustained, robust business performance creates an ideal environment for career growth.

As a Digital Delivery Manager on our Severn Trent Water framework, you'll work on projects that make a real difference to our environment and our communities - enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of water and wastewater treatment systems.

You will play a pivotal role in the management and maintenance of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Templates, implementing and monitoring document review templates and providing guidance on BIM and ACC tools to design, delivery, and site teams. You will also participate in project initiation meetings to define BIM strategies aligned with project objectives and liaise with clients to align BIM and asset management strategies, offering guidance on best practices. As our Digital Delivery Manager, you will oversee and refine the Model Build Strategy for designated projects, while conducting audits of the model federation process across all initiatives within the framework.

Other duties will include:

  • Promote consistent use of ACC tools (issues, markups, RFIs) for information sharing and collaboration across project teams.
  • Facilitate model coordination and design collaboration, including subcontractor integration.
  • Stay updated on digital delivery advancements and incorporate new features into project workflows.

Modelling

  • Accountable for all BIM authoring templates, including Revit and Civil 3D templates, starting out.
  • Providing guidance to team members to ensure the selection of suitable modelling software for each project.
  • Promote the standardisation of modelling procedures.
  • Facilitate compliance with CDM2015 requirements and the implementation of ISO 19650-6 within the BIM models.
  • Provide mentoring and training on modelling using various tools to relevant colleagues.
  • Confirm the project team's clash detection scope and implement the process using Autodesk Construction Cloud: Model Coordination, or Navisworks when required.

Intelligent P&IDs

  • Establishing and maintaining a high-quality Plant3D template to minimize project rework and ensure consistency.
  • Accountable for the upkeep of the template as project requirements evolve.
  • Arrange Plant3D training to BIM and engineering teams, while ensuring correct application of P&ID methodologies within the overall project framework.

Project Delivery

  • Contribute to BIM and Information Management audits on projects, ensuring compliance with MMB and client modelling and information management standards.
  • Develop and maintain project-specific BIM documentation (BEPs, Information Standards, SMPs).
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 and other relevant standards, recommending improvements where applicable.
  • Manage subcontractor engagement on BIM deliverables, including compliance with naming conventions and modelling standards.
  • Conduct audits to ensure adherence to information management and modelling requirements.

What you’ll need:

  • Recognised qualification in Computer-aided design (CAD), BIM or related field
  • Strong knowledge of BIM standards (ISO 19650 series) and digital delivery processes.
