The Commercial team connect us with our product partners, deal with contract negotiations, source exclusive deals, and help partners grow their offering. Managing, analysing, and maintaining the commercial performance of our channels, the team plays a crucial role in making sure that we drive revenue into the business and maximise commercial opportunities.

This specific role is working in our Quidco team. Quidco has over 10million members and our Commercial Team work diligently to allow our users to earn cashback at their favourite places to shop online.
What is the role of a Commercial Manager at Quidco?
You will be responsible for providing exceptional, proactive account management for your designated accounts. You will manage the new business pipeline, including outreach and progressing inbound leads. Collaborating with Senior Account Managers, you will identify core focuses and initiatives, working with the team to achieve them. You will drive partner performance on Quidco by improving their presence through promotional inventory and ideation of relevant seasonal campaigns. Strengthening partnerships and crafting opportunities for co-marketing and collaborations will be key, as will establishing positive relationships with clients, networks, and agencies by attending events and meetings. You will proactively sell onsite and email advertising inventory, focusing on what is needed to hit targets. Additionally, you will send reports and conduct regular performance reviews with partners to incentivise higher advertising spend and better offers. Regular contributions to the trading process for your assigned accounts will provide valuable insights into what is driving trade.
What can you expect in the role?
- Take charge of managing and nurturing relationships with top broadband and mobile providers, crafting strong and lasting connections at all levels through personalised interactions and a deep understanding of their business needs. Drive the sale of promotional placements ensuring budget targets are met. You'll also negotiate new contracts with providers, securing advantageous commercial terms.
- Explore opportunities to add value across all home services verticals and the broader group functions, ensuring Quidco has access to outstanding offers, with exclusivity where appropriate. Identify and capitalise on commercial opportunities, collaborating closely with internal colleagues and external provider contacts to plan and implement long-term growth initiatives.
- Foster positive relationships and close collaboration with Product, Development, and Partner teams, leveraging the support of key internal colleagues at each stage of partnership development and growth. Contribute to the trading process for broadband and related products, ensuring actions are identified and followed up.
- Utilise data to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities, optimising activities accordingly. Ensure the Quidco Commercial strategy and opportunities are central to our broader business strategy by effectively communicating industry developments and opportunities.
What are we looking for?
- You will have a flair for building meaningful relationships. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess outstanding communication skills, and have a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
- Whilst we would love someone from telecoms or with affiliate experience this isn't a deal-breaker. We would rather you come with experience of scaling commercial accounts.
- You will be super organised, deadline driven and demonstrate attention to detail, whether that's in analysing and inputting data or during partner meetings.
- You will thrive when challenged, and not be afraid to challenge and hold others accountable and have a practical approach to work, our priorities often change so you'll be able to adapt quickly.
