As the Manager, Sourcing Facility Management Services for the MEU region, you’ll have the chance to lead and implement a best-in-class, long-term sourcing strategy in close collaboration with our Europe-wide Supply Chain organization. How you will contribute

You will lead and develop a Team of 6 FM buyers located across EU. Together with your Team, you will take the lead in creating value through innovation, sustainability, risk management, quality, service, cash and productivity programs all while ensuring compliance with policies, strategies and processes. In addition, you will lead in the development and deployment of sourcing strategies and the ongoing management of supplier relationships, manage the supply base working internal and external stakeholders to ensure Mondelēz International’s competitive advantage, completely build a program with the business and suppliers that incorporates best practices, market insights, risks and opportunities, and set a clear vision for various areas, defining and delivering ambitious plans that encourage teams and stakeholders to engage not just in the destination, but also in the journey.

  • Solid Procurement experience across different markets or on regional level in Europe is essential. Experience in Food/Beverage or FMCG environment is preferred
  • Strategic Sourcing, Risk Management and Total Cost Ownership expertise is a must. Role requires a combination of strategic thinking & executional excellence
  • Advanced Negotiation and solid Dispute/Claim management skills
  • Knowledge of Facility Management Services (procurement or operations) is a strong plus
  • Master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain or Engineering is highly desirable
  • Demonstrating a future-focused mindset, showing curiosity about industry trends, digital solutions and innovation, and translating opportunities into business strategies
  • Business and financial acumen and an understanding of how procurement brings financial value to the overall Profit & Loss
  • Excellence communication and influencing skills as well as ability to interact effectively and build trust at all levels of the organization including senior leadership based on a deep understanding of business priorities and subject matter expertise
  • Advanced Analytical skills: Solid experience to perform complex Parametric bidding. Knowledge of advanced e-sourcing systems (CSO, Jagger, etc.) is plus
  • Able to manage ambiguity – working within a complex, fluid, organizational environment with limited data visibility and diverse processes
  • Must be able to act autonomously, develop, manage and lead own agenda and take decisions
  • Comfortable identifying, setting & delivering against stretch targets
  • Ability to manage high level of diverse projects simultaneously
  • Proven track record of leading and developing teams in a multi-cultural environment
  • Modelling trust, integrity, and perseverance
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of other European languages is a plus

What you need to know about this position:

This role sits as part of the Mondelez Europe Logistics, FM and Energy/Utilities Procurement team and is responsible for the sourcing of all Facility Management Services across MEU:

  • Scope of spend: $140MM+ p.a. across our 5 Business Units, 60+ manufacturing units and 40+ offices in 33 countries in Europe
  • Leadership of Sourcing Strategy for Facility Management to secure the service at the optimum Total Cost of Ownership
  • Lead and develop the team of 6 sourcing managers and sourcing specialists
  • Lead execution of sourcing strategy for Facility Management services across European network to contribute to successful delivery of Mondelez Supply Chain Europe objectives
  • Owns the Supplier Relationship management strategy for Facility Management services, ensuring effective SRM deployment across >30 strategic & transactional provider relationships
  • Own relationship with regional and local Mondelez Supply Chain and Manufacturing stakeholders and partner with them to further develop and evolve our Sourcing strategy and its execution to support Mondelez Europe growth agenda
  • Enhance the standard ways of working to ensure effective end-to-end sourcing process
  • Sets the 3-year strategic plan for exceeding our key deliverables in Productivity, Cash & Simplification in Facility Management services across Europe
  • Collaborate with Facility Management Sourcing teams from other Mondelez regions to ensure best practice sharing, sourcing & effective supplier relationship management
  • Lead European Facility Management Market Analytics, including Benchmarking
  • Responsible for Financial planning for Strat Plan & Annual Contract (AC) financial planning, leading the inflation guidance setting for each financial planning cycle
  • Role model bringing the outside-in, learning & sharing external insights and leveraging this knowledge to raise the bar on MEU performance
