Job Description

Join our team and lead the AI transformation for our customers. Microsoft’s Enterprise Account Team helps customers on their digital and AI journey. We create new possibilities with our customers, delivering solutions that generate business outcomes and growth for Microsoft. You will collaborate with customer stakeholders to identify, design, and accelerate the most valuable digital and AI initiatives that align with your customer’s business goals.

Together with an Account Executive, and your diverse, multi-functional virtual-team across the Microsoft product portfolio and Partner offerings, you will expand your network of technology and business leaders within your customer and bring industry-relevant solutions to help them adopt and use digital and AI technologies. You will have an executive presence in senior stakeholder engagement across lines of business and an enterprise-level approach to transformation strategy. With a proven track record of creating and delivering solutions that achieve customers’ business transformation and account growth targets, this role will enable you to leverage your solution and industry knowledge to advance your customer’s digital vision.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • A strong passion for technology, evident through broad and deep technical expertise - likely gained from roles in Enterprise Architecture or the CTO office, with a solid foundation in fundamental technologies.
  • Experience in identifying business and technology challenges within government settings and developing solutions utilizing a range of technologies.
  • A strategic planning mindset that aligns activities with long-term objectives and outcomes, while delivering incremental benefits.
  • Outstanding relationship-building and consultative abilities to learn, establish trust, and provide constructive challenge.
  • The ability to create solutions that solve challenges for individual customers but can then be repeated across a whole sector
  • A strong handle on the commercial aspects of technology, in particular the Microsoft technology stack in order to show the value of new solutions against the backdrop of customer budgetary constraints
  • The knowledge and ability to help customers understand how to maximise the potential of their existing Microsoft investments whilst also expanding their vision to see how emerging technology can transform traditional ways of working
  • Proven track record of success through collaboration and coordination with virtual teams, particularly in the ownership and successful implementation of technical solutions delivered alongside external partners.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can succeed at work and beyond.

This role is flexible in location, allowing for remote work and with an expectation of up to 25% on customer/partner sites (across the UK).
