Job Description
At Microsoft AI, our health team is on a mission to help millions of users better understand and proactively manage their health and wellbeing. We’re responsible for ensuring that Microsoft AI’s models and services are useful, trusted and safe across diverse customer health journeys.
For this role the Microsoft Health AI team is looking for a Principal/Senior Program Manager that will help ensure our team of product managers, engineers and designers are best set up to deliver on our core health product solutions. Across all our hires, it’s important for colleagues to share our enthusiasm about the role of technology and AI in health and healthcare, but also appreciate the challenges and risks of delivering effective solutions in a complex and safety critical space. By design, we will remain a lean team (albeit within a much larger organization), and as such you will need to be action orientated, self-sufficient and actively help to cultivate and promote a positive team culture.

Responsibilities
- Act as the central point of accountable alignment for cross-functional teams, ensuring clarity and driving collaboration across engineering, product, clinical, data, and operations.
- Implement and optimize the tools, trackers, and workflow best practices necessary for our cross-functional teams to execute at high pace and performance.
- Build trust and legibility for executive stakeholders, leveraging data, process controls, and exceptional communication instincts.
- Anticipate and manage operational risks and dependencies, escalating and resolving issues with agility.
- Lead with confidence and empathy, building deep coalitions across diverse functional groups.
- Lean into ambiguity, change, and challenge!
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Higher degree (e.g. Masters or PhD) OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Management or related discipline AND experience as a Program Manager in a technology / software product organization.
- Experience in healthcare technology particularly with regulated medical devices
- Ability to produce high quality written and presentation materials with excellent attention to detail
- Strong collaboration, communication and presentation skills
- Work at high speed with autonomy in a rapidly changing environment
- Relish ambiguity/uncertainty
