Job Description

Microsoft’s Enterprise Account Team focuses on partnering with customers to achieve strategic goals. This team is responsible for providing a differentiated Customer experience for our customers, winning against competition by establishing Microsoft as market leaders, maximizing Customer spend, achieve targets (billed revenue, consumption, and adoption). Delivering solutions that result in targeted business outcomes and driving revenue growth for Microsoft.

As a Senior Enterprise Account Executive within our Profession Services industry, you will have the opportunity to drive Transformation in partnership with our most Strategic customers, specifically within Accountancy with a focus on AI, Copilot and Security to achieve both Microsoft and customer business outcomes. Leveraging your large, multi-functional team across the breadth of the Microsoft solutions portfolio, engage at the most senior levels of your customer and bring industry-relevant solutions to help the customer adopt and embrace digital technologies.

With a proven history of driving growth in market share, achieving sales targets, customer obsession, and partner collaboration, this role will give the opportunity to leverage your extensive customer network and sales experience to execute against your customer’s account plan.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Advocate
    • Proactively cultivates relationships with customers and uses Microsoft sales strategies to establish alignment and secure buy in and execution.
    • Leads digital transformation to drive business outcomes and create business value for customers.
    • Develops and oversees the execution of account plans to ensure engagements yield high volume sales for both Microsoft and the customer.
    • Oversees complex accounts and leads planning and prioritization efforts to ensure appropriate responses to account needs.
    • Engages with key internal partners to promote long-term, mutually-beneficial digital transformation strategies. Leverages key executive relationships to build trust with the customer organization.
    • Thinks strategically about account planning, setting standards and priorities, outlining where to and how to invest resources.
    • Orchestrate full customer team across all areas of Microsoft to ensure we are focused on delivering customer outcomes across the customer lifecycle to build deep trust with Microsoft.
    • Engages with internal and external stakeholders on business planning, to promote mutually beneficial customer digital transformation strategies.
  • Industry Relevant Trusted Seller
    • Proactively develops a comprehensive understanding of customer's needs and strategies, priorities, and industry direction.
    • Develops and implements plans for drive new business opportunities, maximizing upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
    • Advocates on behalf of the customer internally, ensuring requests and needs of assigned accounts are being addressed.
  • Deliver Sales Excellence
    • Leverages best-in-class sales and communication techniques to lead extended virtual teams across our solution areas and key stakeholders with deep industry expertise.
    • Translates features into business impact and outcomes that accelerate the customer's digital presence.
    • Develops compelling, value-proposition presentations and specialized business plans for customers that drive business outcomes.
  • Industry Knowledge
    • Builds and maintains a strong knowledge of customers’ industry, associated business strategy, and key industry partners and solutions.
    • Proactively coordinates with network of industry experts to build strong knowledge of the industry and the competitive landscape.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND experience working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration AND experience working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)
    • OR equivalent experience
