Job Description

Our team sits at the heart of Microsoft’s AI & HPC business – shaping and delivering the next generation of supercomputing. As a Senior Commercial Contract Delivery Manager, you will help develop, operate, and maintain services supporting the evolving needs of one of our largest and most significant customers.

As a Senior Commercial Contract Delivery Manager you will be orchestrating processes and managing cross-functional stakeholders to ensure a complex program of works remain complain, accurate and to strategy. The projects include maintaining and updating live customer processes, management and delivery of new contractual obligations as program evolves into next phase.

This role will allow you to develop your commercial and operational delivery skills through a strong program delivery discipline. You will have the opportunity to impact both Microsoft’s strategy and the world-wide mission of one of the largest and most forward-leaning customers. The customer’s scenarios will be lighthouses for their markets and present an opportunity for Azure and Microsoft to learn and grow, create transformative technology offerings, and advance competitive advantages.

Responsibilities

  • Independently develops innovative plans and processes to efficiently execute customer solutions and projects, scaling for multiple/complex customers as possible.
  • Independently anticipates and addresses complex solutions or issues to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborates with multiple cross-functional teams of architects, engineers, finance, legal support, operations owners to relay customer goals, evaluate suggested actionable solutions, and establish cadence for product adoption. Resolves day-to-day issues within scope before escalation to management.
  • Identifies potential issue areas to bring insights back internally for development and resolution.
  • Contributes to development of training content internally to enable teams to expedite customer acceleration and integration.
  • Documents processes and learnings during customer projects and engagements to identify patterns in insights for process development (e.g., blockers in the beginning, actions taken, qualifiers of success).

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND experience in product/service/project/program management
    • OR software development
    • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements :

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
    • BPSS or equivalent clearances required to be passed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Program\Project Mangement Certification.
  • Commercial Contracting Certification.
  • Demonstrable experience of program governance and management of complex processes and contracts.
  • Professional presentation skills with experience of regularly presenting a variety of different audiences.
  • Customer advocacy, a deep ethos and understanding of customer needs and the methods by which to surface articulated and unarticulated needs.
