The Small and Medium Business (SMB) segment within SMC is at the leading edge of growth and transformation. It’s a tremendous growth engine for the company dedicated to bringing the Microsoft cloud to millions of SMB customers worldwide through scalable routes to market, growing revenue, market share and net new customers while enabling a high level of customer and partner experience.

This opportunity allows you, as the SMB Sales Executive, to work across multiple teams at Microsoft and with Channel partners for SMB customer outcomes, develop sales strategies to meet market needs. You will work with individual markets but also on cross-EMEA pilots & projects.

To be successful, you must have deep understanding of the UK local market and upsell/cross-sell scalable motions across services/products. You will lead a v-team to attain sales target outcomes for the UK market through our vendor Digital Sales engine and leverage programs, offers and technology including AI to scale and maximize results. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

Responsibilities

  • Work at scale to drive attainment of Vendor Digital Sales revenue targets, across solution areas, with the Vendor Digital Sales engine.
  • Drive acquire, grow & renewals at scale with Vendor Digital Sales (VDS).
  • Ensure VDS agent readiness on Commercial Solution Areas (CSA) solution plays, renewal, process.
  • Business Performance: Provide execution insights and course correction plans to deliver on Vendor Digital Sales targets.
  • Gather customer feedback from Vendor Digital Sales agents and provide insights to SMB CSA and Segment leaders.
  • Contribute to rhythm of business (ROB) and evaluates progress on execution and target attainment, identifying gaps in plan execution, and taking corrective action as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal Microsoft organizations such as CSA, GPS, Digital Acquisition and Marketing to use sales levers and offers to enable customers and maximize outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or relevant Sales or Marketing experience with Information Technology products and/or services
    • OR equivalent experience
  • Relevant sales experience with Information Technology products/services.
  • Have completed one or more training and/or certification on Azure - Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Cross Solution Fundamentals Achievement (HR LP 4734), Biz Apps - Biz Apps Fundamentals Certification (LP 4439), Modern Work / Generalist - Cross Solution Fundamentals Certification (LP 4454); Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900); Microsoft 365 Security Administration (MS-500); Managing Microsoft Teams (MS-700)
    • Willing to attain certification on any of the above Microsoft within 6 months.
  • Fluency in English and Excellent Communication skiils required.
  • Experience in working with outsourced sales engines is beneficial.
