Job Description

Our team sits at the heart of Microsoft’s AI & High Performance Computing (HPC) business – shaping and delivering the next generation of supercomputing. As a Customer Experience Program Manager, you will lead our programmer communications strategy by orchestrating stakeholder management and engagement, recommending and developing content for specific use in communications initiatives and events for a strategic customer programme.


You will also support research and analysis to track our programme success criteria and performance metrics. In specific strategic circumstances, you will support the team in preparation for customer conversations, project scoping, and executive escalations. This position requires continuous cross-Microsoft, cross-time-zone coordination and the ability to manage high-impact work to short deadlines.

This role will allow you to develop communication management, project management and technical writing skills. You will have the opportunity to impact both Microsoft’s strategy and the world-wide mission of one of the largest and most forward-leaning customers. Responsibilities

  • Lead on business communications and events, ensuring high impact content and presentations; ensuring content experiences adhere to guidelines/standards/values (e.g., accessibility, inclusive content, Microsoft brand guidelines, compliance, search engine optimization, data collection gathering).
  • Partners with the Programme leadership team to develop and execute planning processes, ensuring coordination with corporate planning processes as well as planning integration across the broader organization. Helps in managing the team's rhythm of business (ROB).
  • Create storytelling content to articulate strategies, results, and goals for various forums, tailoring content to audience needs and simplifying complex information.
  • Uses qualitative data to track performance and align priorities with key performance indicators to drive accountability and clarity within our organization.
  • Monitor team health and promote our culture initiatives, partnering with the programme team to ensure a healthy organizational scorecard.
  • Stays updated on industry and competitive trends and adjusts the content strategy as needed. Shares knowledge and best practices within teams and programme.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, Marketing or related field OR equivalent experience.
    • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
  • Proven experience in leading communication events, ensuring high-impact content customized for both internal and external audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging content in various formats.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or goverment security screening requirements, including passing the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Internal communications experience.
  • Product marketing experience, preferably in cloud services or technology.
  • Professional presentation skills with experience of regularly creating engaging content and presenting a variety of different audiences.
  • Change management certifications.
  • Customer advocacy, a deep ethos and understanding of customer needs and the methods by which to surface articulated and unarticulated needs.
