Job Description

Microsoft Advertising (MSA) empowers the largest advertisers and publishers around the world to reach their maximum potential through digital advertising solutions on the Microsoft Advertising platform.

We are seeking a Partner Account Executive with digital advertising experience who can drive revenue with programmatic partners by developing and cultivating strategic partner relationships and aligning solutions to the partner’s advertising technology strengths. This individual will work with supply side publishers in the United Kingdom and will play a key role in managing supply-side partnerships on behalf of Microsoft Advertising. Other markets may be required at a later date. Responsibilities include developing forward-looking strategies for integrations, driving the end-to-end lifecycle of partner management to increase spend/revenue, cultivating client relationships navigating complex technical problems, and partnering internally across engineering, content technical services, marketing and sales leadership to drive awareness and product development prioritization.

Responsibilities

  • Owns revenue and client engagement for a portfolio of strategic clients. Develops deep understanding of their business and the products that they utilize. Forecasts managed products and/or partner accounts to examine account trends, monitor progress, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Creates, manages and executes account plans to ensure Microsoft and partner sales goals are on target. Coordinates with internal key stakeholders on plan execution. Holds self and partner accountable for executing on plans.
  • Proposes joint business plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders to generate revenue for the partner and Microsoft. Develops short- and long-term goals and performance expectations based on partner capabilities. Supports the adoption of plans by evaluating the alignment, plan, and partners' short- and long-term goals and priorities.
  • Collaborates with internal teams (e.g., product, technical support, engineering) to support partners. Shares overall business plans with relevant stakeholders. Influences and drives actions with internal teams.
  • Co-ordinates with internal teams – finance, billing, customer support and legal to ensure queries are answered in a timely manner and all necessary contracts and obligations are met.
  • Work with senior leaders to manage escalations, drive solutions and communicate outcomes with clients.
  • Identifies opportunities in partners' business or channels to broaden Microsoft reach. Suggests existing products and solutions to fill account gaps, drive sales, and expand partner/channel position in Microsoft's ecosystem.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field ANDexperience in partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry
    • OR years of experience in partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration AND experience in partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry.
