Job Description

In the Consumer Sales Organization (CSO), we are a global team at Microsoft responsible for sales across Devices & Creativity (Windows, Microsoft 365, and Surface) and Gaming. CSO puts the consumer at the center, helping them discover, learn, and buy through direct and partner channels in over 120 countries around the world. Our team works with ecosystem partners and internal business groups to drive digital excellence and e-commerce capability, as well as accelerate cloud and subscription adoption. In this role, you will be the subject matter expert for the Devices and Creativity customer solution area (CSA), deeply understanding the business priorities, associated product roadmaps, target audiences and customer journey. You will be accountable to build consumer-centric go-to-market plans, establishing a marketing calendar for execution through our partners and aligned to global priorities, functional expertise and local market insights. Success is measured by execution excellence, conversion, sell-through, ROI and brand love.

You’ll work with partner marketers to influence the design of unique Microsoft experiences across channels and at every touchpoint in the customer journey, working across organizational boundaries to deliver integrated consumer marketing. You will collaborate with local category and cross-functional marketing teams to coordinate PR, social and below-the-line marketing activities to complement and extend our partner marketing campaigns.

You will act as a trusted advisor to drive strategic decisions about our marketing investment strategy and marketing mix at the product level. You’ll be deeply embedded in global Devices and Creativity communities, taking global strategy, campaigns and assets and localizing them for market and partner relevance across digital, visual merchandising and other co-marketing efforts retail partners. You will work closely with Partner Readiness & Influence Leads to maintain our in-store branded presence and connect with consumers and sellers through readiness, training, evangelism and assisted selling.

By joining the Consumer Channel & Partner Marketing team, you’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s focused on driving full-funnel marketing for an exciting ecosystem that continues to grow. As the owner of the Devices and Creativity consumer marketing experience, you’ll have the opportunity to share feedback around the voice of the customer, capture learnings and establish best practices, leveraging the global infrastructure for support and shared platforms.

This role is flexible, working up to 50% from home depending on office proximity.

Responsibilities

• Omnichannel Strategy Implementation: Develop and leverage customer journey maps to create and deliver unique Microsoft product experiences across retail and distribution partners, ensuring seamless integration across digital and physical touchpoints.
• E-commerce and Retail Activation: Drive e-commerce sales through digital marketing excellence, mobile-first strategies, and social commerce while optimising in-store and online experiences for improved conversion.
• Retail Presence and Advocacy: Enhance retail engagement by implementing and maintaining in-store programmes, training retail sellers, and fostering community advocacy to build strong brand ambassadors.
• Localised Marketing Execution: Tailor global strategies, campaigns, and assets for regional markets and partners, aligning marketing calendars to seasonal beats, product launches, and partner priorities.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate marketing efforts across disciplines such as Partner Marketing, PR, Media, and Product Marketing to ensure a unified and impactful execution strategy.
• Insight-Driven Strategy: Analyse customer feedback, ratings, reviews, and market insights to optimise marketing investments, execution, and innovation opportunities for maximum business impact.
• Execution Excellence and Brand Consistency: Maintain high standards in timelines, budgets, and scorecards while ensuring brand consistency and a comprehensive understanding of customer and competitive landscapes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in retail marketing, particularly within consumer technology products, with a proven ability to develop and execute impactful marketing strategies.
• Direct experience engaging with partners, achieving measurable growth and performance metrics through collaborative efforts.
• Skilled in building and executing integrated marketing plans and campaigns across various disciplines, ensuring alignment with sales and commerce platforms.
• Deep understanding of digital and physical buying journeys, with proven success in implementing cross-discipline marketing and sales programmes.
• Track record of marketing execution excellence, delivering ROI through meticulous planning, creative execution, and leveraging insights for continuous improvement.
