Job Description

Global Partner Solutions (GPS) team is a sales organization accountable for the commercial partner business at Microsoft, and the mission is to build and sell Microsoft Cloud applications, services and devices with partners, empowering people, and organizations to achieve more.

We are looking for Partner Cloud Solution Architect – Modern Work that will be accountable for delivering customer success by working with Global System Integrators (GSI), and Advisory partners.

This role plays a crucial role in building world-class solutions and practices across Microsoft solution areas, with the GSI partners. By providing deep technical guidance, you will help partners evolve their business solution portfolio using Microsoft AI and Cloud technologies. In this role, you will guide the development of business solutions, provide deep technical insights, and accelerate the growth of Microsoft Technical priorities across Azure, Modern Work (Microsoft 365 etc.) and Generative AI. You will work closely with partners to understand their technical requirements and business objectives, and guide them through architectural design sessions, developing proof of concepts, and help them transition from legacy systems to modern cloud environments, ensuring that their solutions are optimized for performance and cost-efficiency. By leveraging your skills in technical leadership, cloud computing, software development, problem solving and systems architecture, you will drive business impact by enabling digital transformation, optimizing performance, and driving innovation through the effective use of cloud technologies.

This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

Responsibilities

  • Partner Transformation, Strategic Programs and Solution Development: Accelerate partner transformation and growth by leveraging the Microsoft cloud value proposition and increase partner portfolio capabilities with key Microsoft innovations. Aid partners to develop and implement high quality solutions and/or services leveraging Microsoft’s latest technologies
  • Technical Leadership: Develop and maintain depth and breadth of technical and professional skills, along with business acumen and industry knowledge. Exhibit a deep level of knowledge in the Modern Work Solution area as well as three products areas within Modern Work (Microsoft 365 etc.). Exhibit an intermediate level of knowledge in at least one other designated solution area: Data & AI, Infrastructure, Digital and App Innovation (Developer), Security and Business Applications (Dynamics, Power Platform etc.) and at least one product area within the solution area(s), including AI. Exhibit experience in all other solution areas as evidenced by training, certification, or direct experience. Participate and contribute to relevant internal and external technical communities.
  • Enablement Execution: Lead and/or contribute to the delivery of workshops, bootcamps, and trainings necessary to build partners’ technical skills.
  • Technical Engagement: Lead technical engagements, including Briefings, Proof of Concepts, Architectural Design Sessions, and Hackathons.
  • Best Practice Sharing: Collaborate with Microsoft’s Engineering teams to generate technical insight and enable best practices sharing.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven ability in designing and deploying solutions, particularly in areas of Modern work and Migration.
  • Practical knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures for integrating on-premises workloads with Azure resources
  • Demonstrable experience working in a customer and partner facing role (e.g., internal and/or external)
  • Significant experience leading technical projects
  • Demonstrable, hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and migrating third-party solutions on Azure, GCP, or AWS, with solid experience in cloud architecture and virtualization technologies. Experience in developing and executing cloud strategies and roadmaps. Awareness of industry best practices and the latest trends in cloud computing.
    • Technical experience and knowledge in Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, OR equivalent experience
