Job Description

We are seeking a skilled App Innovation Technical Specialist to join in the UK our vibrant Digital Natives Tech Unit within the EMEA region. In this dynamic role, you will act as a catalyst, empowering cutting-edge startups and Digital Natives to exploit the full capabilities of Azure, focusing on app development, PaaS, and DevOps. Your technical guidance will be key in steering the most disruptive start-ups and unicorns in building the next generation SaaS solutions through the power of Azure’s PaaS solutions and services.

As our technical authority on application innovation and development, your responsibilities include delivering compelling presentations, engineering impactful demonstrations, and steering proofs of concept that encourage the adoption of our solutions. Your role is instrumental in fostering customer relationships, influencing pivotal decision-makers, and hastening app innovation by illustrating how our technology can address tangible business problems.

With a profound understanding of the Azure platform and app development landscape, you will articulate complex ideas to a varied audience, including technical peers and senior executives, ensuring they recognize the strategic value of Azure PaaS in fostering both business and technological growth. Collaborating closely with our sales and partner ecosystems, you will devise and implement strategies to identify fresh opportunities, driving incremental sales and enhancing customer engagement.

Responsibilities

Key resonsibilities include:

  • Providing expert technical guidance on Azure application innovation, including PaaS, DevOps, and advanced app coding techniques.
  • Assisting customers with app modernization strategies and the technical architecture required to implement comprehensive solutions on Azure, leveraging best practices.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of orchestration tools like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), helping customers to manage, scale, and deploy containerized applications seamlessly.
  • Architect solutions that efficiently support multitenancy, enabling optimized resource utilization and cost-effectiveness without compromising on isolation and security between tenants.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to our top clients, helping them incorporate Azure app development services into their overarching cloud strategy, and recommending migration paths and architectures that include Azure PaaS services.
  • Conducting architectural design sessions to establish implementation plans aligned with customer business objectives and their technical infrastructure.
  • Guide customers through complex scenarios involving hybrid and multi-cloud container deployments, ensuring seamless integration and management across various platforms.Addressing a range of customer readiness challenges including security, performance, scalability, and intellectual property considerations.
  • Engaging with customers and collaborating with account and partner teams to drive new opportunities, resolve technical obstacles, and contribute strategies to expedite deal closure.
  • Remaining continually abreast of advancements and trends in cloud app development to ensure our team and our solutions stay at the industry's forefront.
  • Influencing Azure app innovation strategy by advocating for customer needs and requirements.
  • Being an Azure Platform evangelist, inspiring customers, partners, and the external community, fostering developer communities through various outreach activities.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in technical pre-sales or technical consulting roles
  • Application innovation and development background
  • Experience working with Digital Natives or Start Ups in the UK.
