Job Description

Monetize is our strategic selling platform consisting of (1) an ad server to manage inventory and yield across direct and programmatic channels, and (2) a supply-side platform to manage demand sources for programmatically transacted ad inventory across all channels and formats globally.

The Microsoft Customer Solutions Architect is responsible for understanding our clients’ goals and challenges and providing technical solutions via a consultative approach. This is done by engaging with our most strategic tier of publisher clients as well as working closely with Monetize products in all stages of development. There is a large focus on Forecasting, Direct IO, Ad Serving, CTV, Video, Identity and more.

About the team:

The broader Customer Success team is a critical function inside our Microsoft Advertising Global Marketing & Operations organization, providing the right services and advisory teams across the entirety of the customer lifecycle on both the Buyside and Sell side.

Customer Solutions Architects are the largest team inside Customer Success; we are a diverse group of problem solvers with boundless technical curiosity. We work closely with Sales, Account Management, Product, Product Support, and Engineering. We build trusted client partnerships that produce mutual wins through spirited collaboration, intrinsic empathy, and a readiness to challenge the status quo. Responsibilities

About the job:

• Become a Microsoft Monetize product expert, and a domain expert in programmatic advertising.

• Serve as the primary technical contact for our top publishers, forecasting guidance providing technical expertise and solutions during implementation/inventory activation, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.

• Deeply understand our clients’ business; lead technical projects that require scoping and ability to transfer learnings into technical requirement definition and specifications.

• Review and test client integrations in order to optimize; analyze yield and monetization performance and offer recommendations for improvement.

• Work closely with Product and Engineering in the GTM (go-to-market) process for product launches by testing new products and features, aggregating client feedback and influencing product development.

• Become a trusted advisor internally & externally by developing deep technical understanding of Monetize products and staying on top of industry and technology trends.

• Assist in mentorship and training of more junior Solutions Consultants.

• Refine best practices, customer facing assets, and internal documentation.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

•Fluent in English.

• 2-5 years of work experience in a Solutions Consultant or Technical Account Management role with client-facing and advisory experience.

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Outstanding communication (verbal and written), presentation, and organizational skills; process-oriented yet entrepreneurial.

• Proactive approach; confidence to handle whatever may come.

• Can interface with both technical and business stakeholders internally and externally.

• Ability to prioritize and deliver against multiple, simultaneous projects/tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Digital advertising experience ( Ad servers, SSP, DSP, RTB (Real Time Bidding), Video players, Header Bidding, PMPs & Programmatic Guaranteed, Deal Packaging and curation, etc.).

• Proficiency with data analysis and manipulation in Excel.

• Proficiency in SQL, APIs, and Python.
