Responsibilities

As a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA), your key responsibilities will include:

  • Technical collaboration: You will be responsible for the technical strategy and architecture discussions with our high-potential customers, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their technical requirements and alignment with Azure's capabilities.
  • Solution Development: You will develop detailed proposals and plans for cloud service consumption and deployment, focusing on Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions.
  • Customer Engagement: You will engage with customers to understand their business vision and technical landscape, providing expert guidance and support throughout their cloud adoption journey.
  • Technical Architecture: You will design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient technical and security architectures within Azure, influencing the migration approach and executing proof of concepts when necessary.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will work closely with sales, engineering, and support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and the successful delivery of Azure solutions.
  • Continuous Learning: You will stay abreast of the latest cloud technologies and industry trends, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge to provide innovative solutions to our customers.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs)

  • Experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting or related field
  • Experience in Cloud Infrastructure (Azure), plus one or more of the following highly desirable:
    • Technology Solutions
    • Networking
    • Virtualisation Technologies
    • Security
    • Open Source
  • You must be legally authorised to work in “United Kingdom” to be eligible for this role.
    • (Legally authorised = Has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit). Relocation expenses are not provided as part of this role.
  • Certification:AZ-104 and/or AZ-305.

Desirable skills and experience

Technical - Technical experience and knowledge in Well Architected Framework/Cloud Adoption Framework (WAF/CAF), Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management

Certifications: AZ-500 (security) and AI-900 (Fundamentals)

Professional Experience – Proven success in technology sector with either technical sales, projects, architecture, design, implementation, and/or delivery support.

Relationship Building - Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with people, experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects.

Problem Solving - Passion and ability to solve technical problems.

Collaboration and Communication - Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams, ensuring successful implementation of customer projects.
