Job Description

The Circular Centre Logistics Manager serves as the on-site Microsoft representative, ensuring smooth operations and acting as the single point of contact for all Circular Centre issues and escalations. The manager leads teams, oversees vendors, and drives operational excellence while promoting Microsoft’s culture, values, and sustainability vision. This role combines leadership, operational expertise, and a commitment to sustainability to deliver excellence and innovation in Microsoft’s Circular Centres.

Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a CO+I DIAM, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient workflows in material processing, shipping/receiving, inventory, and facility management.
  • Lead and develop teams, including hiring, training, and performance management, while ensuring compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and ensure secure, compliant DBD destruction processes.
  • Ensure facility management aligns with operational and safety requirements.
  • Collect and analyse operational data to drive continuous improvement and streamline processes.
  • Handle escalations and critical incidents to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Manage budgets, vendor resources, and financial reconciliation.
  • Ensure compliance with Microsoft policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Identify opportunities to highlight sustainability initiatives and drive innovation.
  • Embody our culture and values.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma AND experience in warehouse/supply chain in an information technology (IT) environment, inventory management, retail, warehouse management, logistics, or a related field.
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • You must be legally authorised to work in the United Kingdom to be eligible for this role.

Background Check Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

While not required, we also look for the following Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing large-scale projects/programs in enterprise environments.
  • Strong financial acumen, compliance knowledge, and analytical skills (Power BI is a plus).
  • Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean, or supply chain management preferred.
  • Degree in Production/Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
