Job Description

Join the Microsoft Health Futures team in Cambridge UK for a 24 month AI Residency focused on machine learning engineering. This fixedterm role offers practical training and the chance to apply and improve ML solutions that address real-world health challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams
  • Improve and scale ML training and inference
  • Deploy and integrate models
  • Scale data cleaning and AI pre-processing.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Demonstrated expertise in machine learning, software engineering and cloud computing
  • Experiences with deep learning frameworks
  • Strong analytical skills and effective communication in a collaborative environment.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with PyTorch.
  • Familiar with Azure and Azure Machine Learning.
  • Experience with MLOps, CI pipelines
  • Software development in teams.
