Job Description:

We are seeking an individual with compliance, audit, and project management experience to support our Assurance Program Management team respond to various compliance related requests. With an expected increased demand from customers to provide compliance-related information and/or to seek to audit us directly, one of your primary responsibilities will be to assist in developing program materials and triage customer inquiries. Additional responsibilities could include, working with our privacy and engineering teams to provide compliance related subject matter expertise to support internally developed training and/or tool development, and engaging with our service counterparts (Office and Azure) on various compliance related initiatives.

The role has scope for broad impact and will require strong customer acumen to understand areas of need, program vision to deliver scalable and efficient R2A solutions meeting customers and regulators’ need, collaborating with various internal partner teams and ability to influence across organizational lines. The ideal candidate should have knowledge about compliance and program management. This individual should be organized, self-motivated, have a strong attention to detail, and robust communication skills to help build and execute initiatives that ensure compliance in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop customer facing material to help address commonly asked questions
  • Work with privacy to redact evidence prior to customer consumption
  • Work with engineering team to automate the evidence redaction program
  • Assist in collecting, and reconciling subcontractors related information (specific to the datacenters) for our key customers and develop a plan to periodically update the information.
  • Add, update, and periodically review standard responses CO+I provides to the Office/Azure Tier I support team
  • Participate in contractual Statement of Work (SoW) negotiations with customers to represent CO+I on what domains and scope will be covered during customer audits
  • Brainstorm and ideate proactive strategies supporting R2A as the program expands and look for scalable and efficient R2A solutions

In addition, this position requires:

  • Ability to influence operations and engineering teams with control design and implementation
  • Ability to successfully collaborate, drive clarity, and ensure communication between stakeholders

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience auditing in a large, global company for compliance-related policies, controls, and regulations
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
    Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time
  • Hands on experience/proficiency in using MS Office apps like MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to successfully collaborate, drive clarity, and ensure communication between stakeholders.

Preferred, not required:

  • Experience working at a consulting/public accounting firm conducting external audits or a legal background responding to inquiries
  • Experience in datacenter compliance and right to audit
  • Experience working in a multinational public company
