An exciting opportunity has become available as an Account Executive (AE) responsible for customers across our Health and Life Science business. This important role helps our Health and Life Science customers respond to the increasing challenge of a digitally savvy patient, coupled with a changing market structure and an ever pressurised workforce. We need to help our customers empower their employees to provide world-class patient care, in an environment that is challenged on many fronts.

The Account Executive plays a pivotal role in supporting our customers through strong partnership, and this is a role that has evolved beyond selling products and services. Our modern Account Executive is a trusted advisor who leads with societal purpose and business outcomes in mind.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively engage and run a large virtual, diverse team, all supporting the customers vision
  • Communicate and coordinate with a broad range of senior stakeholders within Microsoft and within your customers
  • Take our customers on a journey of digital change, moving to cloud based services and leveraging the innovation and optimization that can bring
  • Take ownership for your customer’s experience with Microsoft
  • Challenge traditional thinking and approaches with empathy and think about how we can help our customers do things differently
  • Meet or exceed revenue goals set by the business
  • Increase Microsoft’s credibility, impact and depth of engagement in both your customers and in the broader Public Sector market
  • Engage and successfully collaborate with our Microsoft Partner Network in building the right solutions for our customers, as part of the large Microsoft virtual team
  • Ensure that the customer gets the very best value from their Microsoft investments, looking for every opportunity to address our customers challenges using our software and services

Qualifications

Common attributes we typically look for, can include;

  • Track record of confidently holding executive level relationships and influencing at senior levels within customers
  • Experience in Enterprise Sales, Business Consulting or Consultative Selling, preferably in Digital Technology or similar areas
  • Healthcare industry knowledge and experience either as a customer or as a supplier is desired but not essential
