UK Head of Occupational Health and Wellbeing
Are you passionate about advancing workplace health and wellbeing?
Mars Inc. is seeking a UK Associate Health & Wellbeing (AH&WB) Lead to develop, implement, and manage a holistic occupational health and wellbeing strategy across our UK sites. This strategic position is key in supporting our associates' health through clinical leadership, team management, and impactful wellbeing initiatives, all while aligning with Mars Inc.’s global strategy.
What are we looking for?
Qualified Occupational Health professional or Nurse.
Significant experience managing occupational health teams, setting health and wellbeing strategy, and driving measurable outcomes.
Clinical leadership experience, including team oversight and clinical consultation.
Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels, adapt strategies based on insights, and measure the impact of wellbeing initiatives.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance, health surveillance, absence management, chronic disease risk reduction, and employee wellbeing programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Leadership: Diagnose, develop, and deliver a comprehensive occupational health and wellbeing plan that addresses specific site and segment priorities. Lead a team of clinicians and a wellbeing practitioner, providing clinical oversight and guidance for our third-party OH service providers.
Holistic Health Approach: Drive outcomes across occupational health, health management, and wellbeing by implementing data-driven initiatives to reduce population health risks, lower absenteeism, and improve associate energy levels.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Influence and partner with key stakeholders (e.g., Safety, P&O, site leaders) to embed the health and wellbeing strategy across the organization.
Compliance & Quality: Ensure that our sites meet Mars standards and all local legislative requirements. Lead the development and management of an occupational health auditing process to maintain excellence.
Future Growth Opportunity: With time, support an expanding European cluster model in line with Mars Inc.’s growth and business changes.
