Accurate, granular and well visualised packaging sustainability data is critical to our businesses for a range of purposes, including internal strategy development, tracking of progress against KPIs and external reporting to NGOs, customers and regulators. The Sustainable Packaging Data Manager will work cross-functionally and across all regions to aggregate, analyse and visualize packaging sustainability data, providing timely reporting and deriving key strategic insights and opportunities for the business, as well as ensuring integration of reporting into existing business processes. They will act as the key point of contact on sustainability data and guardian of the ‘single source of truth’ for a range of stakeholders including corporate sustainability, global segment sustainability, OE program leads and functional leads. The primary focus of this role is on packaging sustainability data with the potential to broaden the scope over time to include management of procurement, raw materials and operations sustainability data.

What are we looking for?

Manage Pet Nutrition packaging sustainability data collection, reporting, forecasting and analysis

There is a significant and growing need for improved data collection & management within packaging sustainability. This individual will collect and consolidate data across teams and regions and provide analytical insight to help determine Pet Nutrition future direction and areas of focus.

Develop future systems for improved packaging data reporting

As work continues cross-segment to evolve the packaging data systems capability, this individual will represent global Pet Nutrition part of a broader team, representing the needs of key stakeholders in the segment and ensuring that future systems are fit for purpose

Lead internal Pet Nutrition Sustainability Data Analysis

It is essential that Sustainability data be easy to understand and interpreted in a way it can be fully utilised by our stakeholders. Educating our OE's to use the tools developed will help build OE specific insights and strategy development.

Develop compelling and insightful visualisation

Strong data and facts are foundational to supporting narrative, sustainability strategy and internal / external communications. This individual would be responsible for bringing data to life through development of key visuals and dashboards to support with pre-reads and presentations in key forums

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Work cross functionally to ensure all are aware and can deliver, relevant data to allow pack sustainability program support

  • Build and co-ordinate, Pack Sustainability data to allow reporting of all core KPI's

  • Support cross OE, education and utilisation of data management tools

  • Develop processes and data assurance to support future insights and strategies for Pack Sustainability
