Salary: £51,000 - 65,000, annual bonus, benefits
What are we looking for?
Excellent standards of numeracy and literacy, preferably to A-level standard (or equivalent)
Experience in line management is required, preferable in a manufacturing environment
A strong communicator with a demonstrated ability to relate to all people at all levels, from a variety of backgrounds, and to confront challenging situations as required.
Desirable technical background and operational excellence expertise
What will be your key responsibilities?
Leading an operations shift team to deliver priority KPIs through effective prioritization, escalation, and decision-making.
The Senior TL role is also an acting “Emergency Manager”, this role encompasses overall responsibility of the site out of hours and is a point of escalation.
Providing line management for a team of operations associates; allocating work, managing crewing levels and driving flexible working, conducting training, and ensuring that all attendance, performance, and disciplinary matters are dealt with following company procedures
Building a high-performing team through developing associates individually and within the team.
Driving the engagement of associates through coaching and impact planning. Developing associates through effective PDP management to ensure functional, team, and personal development.
Develops and leads factory-wide business communication, working with management and support functions to deliver effective messaging and feedback.
Collaborating to lead and partner in Continuous Improvement and OPEX projects, driving improvements in efficiency and other line KPIs.
Role model the FMOS and DMS processes, leading root cause analyses and coaching associates.
Ensure the team has the required capability, competence, and attitude to succeed in delivering business objectives.
