The Process Intelligence Sr. Mgr, Engagement & Demand will serve as a unique hybrid role in which Mars Global Services (MGS ) function-facing skills and storytelling will intersect with a technical background. This will be a transformation role that will be focused on initiatives related to MGS ‘Digital Core’ program which centers around a large scale ERP modernization as well as an end-to-end transformation of Enterprise business processes. More specifically, this role will focus on process intelligence deployments for back office & corporate functions (Invoice-to-Cash, Invoice-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain Finance, Controls, HR/P&O, and other functions).

What are we looking for?

  • This role will lead all engagement with functional representatives during upfront scoping activities and will be solely responsible for managing the pipeline from demand intake through to approved project charters and business case publishing for any deployments leveraging Celonis, Soroco, and Signavio for the MGS Digital Core program.

  • This role will also take the lead on deployment timing, strategy, and management of investments required (software, licensing, contractors) to enable downstream delivery, both for upfront pilots/proof-of-concepts in Phase 0 & 1 as well as large-scale workstreams in Phase 2 and beyond. For the avoidance of doubt, this role will only be focused MGS demand intake for Digital Core program needs vs. our ongoing ‘business-as-usual’ pipeline.

Experience/Skills Required:

  • Progressive experience in business enabling enterprise technologies/emerging technologies or digital technology consulting

  • In depth experience of the deploying process mining technologies and managing strategic enterprise process intelligence operations

  • Proven success leading transformational, innovative activities in one or more of the following areas: Process Mining; Business Analytics; Automation; Data visualization; Business enabling technology platforms

  • Experience with Celonis process mining solutions, Soroco Scout, SAP Signavio, or other process mining/task mining capabilities

  • Experience advising/consulting on major digital transformational programs

  • Dashboard or data visualization experience to create compelling views, putting data sets together, and being able to share the story to business users and provide actionable Insights.

  • Demonstrated ability to own and manage transformational initiatives in an enterprise environment with a focus on bridging the gap between business needs and technology capabilities

  • Experience with Soroco process intelligence and visibility solutions – Soroco Scout and Soroco Automation process design capabilities

  • Ability to manage the coordination and governance of 3rd party strategic partner talent networks

  • Previous experience in CX transformation initiatives

  • Experience with SQL/Python a plus

  • The ideal candidate possesses experience in a professional services environment and has a background that illustrates extensive capabilities Automation, Robotics, AI and transforming business processes at scale and speed.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Be a subject matter expert in intelligent process mining and business process intelligence, developing standards, providing oversight, and enabling actionable insights aimed at the modernization and digitization of end-to-end business processes across Mars MGS core functions (Key technology competencies: Celonis process mining software and tools, Soroco Scout and process designer, SAP Signavio).

  • Serve as a hybrid between business-facing story-telling to share insights and actions but also be familiar in the technology stack, being able to create high-level dashboards and help prepare those insights within the relevant tools (e.g. create dashboards/views in Celonis and then help the business understand where there are inefficiencies to tackle)

  • Gain a deep understanding of business process related problems faced by users across Mars through working sessions, and use this insight to gather and prioritize requirements that can set the path for a successful and more formal project Discovery phase

  • Drive digital transformation initiatives related to MGS enterprise and corporation functions/shared services through our pipeline to rollout and mature process mining capabilities and visualize end-to-end business processes.

  • Serve as a dedicated engagement lead for the entirety of the MGS Digital Core program acting as the ‘tip of the spear’, expected to liaise with functional representatives from each domain within Global Services (Invoice-to-Cash, Invoice-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain Finance, Controls, HR/P&O, and other functions).

  • Conduct discovery sessions and interviews with functional leaders to assess current state operations and potential viability/applicability for Process Intelligence technologies

  • Engage with Digital Core leaders on technology stack strategy and deployment approach for Celonis, Soroco, and Signavio for each Phase of the program

  • Complete feasibility assessments for demand items/ideas

  • Manage the entirety of the demand pipeline from scoping & problem framing, through to development/delivery handoff

  • Build business cases for process intelligence projects, documenting detail around costs, resourcing, and investment required, as well as Digital Core program impact, quantitative/qualitative benefits, and ROI

  • Development of project charters detailing scope of work, timeline, logistics, functional requirements, assumptions, and high-level solution approach for use by contractor developer teams
