The SAP Security Transformation Senior Lead is responsible for leading SAP security strategy, design, and implementation as part of the Mars Digital Core ERP transformation program.

This position will support the transformation by providing technical leadership in the areas of role-based access controls, SAP GRC, user access management, and IT controls while leading the deployment of the Digital Core solution to Mars business segments.

What are we looking for?

  • Extensive experience leading security and controls workstreams of SAP ERP business transformation projects

  • Technical implementation experience in the domains of SAP application security, role-based access strategies, segregation of duties, identity and access management (user provisioning, user access reviews, user terminations), and data security

  • Proficiency in security design, configuration, testing and deployment activities in SAP technologies, including SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, SAP GRC, SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), and Central Finance

  • Strong communication skills; ability to discuss and present security topics tailored to technical, business, and leadership level audiences

  • Demonstrated ability to oversee decentralized teams and form strong working relationships with internal Associates and external partners across multiple organizations.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills to deliver results across multiple parallel running projects. Will lead engagement planning, budgeting, and technical review activities to ensure deliverables are met on time, within budget, and with quality.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Drive the design and implementation of SAP security strategies and solutions in areas of role-based access control, GRC, identity and access management, IT controls, and data security.

  • Lead security activities through full project lifecycle for specific Mars business segment(s), including: requirements gathering and leading workshops, technical security configuration and integrations, security role design and build, security testing, cutover, and go-live activities.

  • Coordinate with the SAP Security Implementation Manager to ensure Enterprise / Shared Template security requirements are being adopted and/or adapted by the business segment(s); and segment-specific requirements are incorporated into the Enterprise template and/or localized as necessary.

  • Collaborate with our vendors and external consulting partners; oversee contractors and review project deliverables to ensure project objectives are met

  • Facilitate training and knowledge transfer from project teams to steady state support teams
