We are seeking an experienced In-House Bank and Treasury Expert for S4 Transformation Project at Mars. As a senior SAP In-House Bank (IHB) Consultant the expectation is to lead the implementation, transformation and optimization of SAP In-House Bank (IHB) solutions across the organization. You will be responsible to advise on best practices to deliver complex and future proof solution working with different implementation partners.

As a IHB lead in Treasury Processes within Global Treasury Operations, you'll play a pivotal role in establishing, orchestrating, and delivering Enterprise Treasury strategy. Your expertise is crucial as we work together to create a data driven environment that not only enhances decision-making but also streamlines treasury processes.

This role is a project-based transformation role and has a current expected end date of December 31, 2026. As we move closer to this date will work with you to explore other opportunities for employment within the Mars family of companies. If a suitable alternative role is not available at that time, your employment will end.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field.

  • MBA or CPA preferred. Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance or treasury role

  • Excellent communication (both written and oral).

  • A global mindset and interest. The ability to understand country/region specific differences worldwide from a business and cultural perspective.

  • Strong computer skills, including banking systems and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word a must.

  • Strong organizational skills and creative problem solver.

  • Strong experience in Business ERP SAP S4 system

  • Strong experience in treasury management systems (SAP S4, FIS/Quantum products)

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Lead the design, configuration and implementation of SAP In-House Bank (IHB) (PoBo, PINO, RoBO, internal bank account management) with multibank connectivity.

  • Work closely with leadership and cross workstreams including treasury, finance and other module’s to align cash management and internal bank processes with long term organizational goals.

  • Design and oversee the management of internal bank accounts, intercompany payments settlement and centralized payment systems.

  • Configure, harmonize and optimize payment factories, centralized bank operations and automate payment processes.

  • Make sure that the proposed solution is compliance with local financial regulations and audit standards across the company’s internal banking operations.

  • Design global harmonize solution to improve internal banking processes through automation and digital tools.

  • Provide strategic guidance to optimized cash pool, cash concentration and other advanced treasury functions using SAP IHB.

  • Work with IT and cross functional teams to integrate SAP IHB solution with other SAP modules, different S4 instances and external banking systems.

  • Ensure seamless operation and minimal disruption to business processes.

  • Develop and maintain thorough documentation on configurations, workflows, and custom developments.

  • Leverage new S4 Treasury and IHB functionalities, new features, and industry best practices.

Strategic Data and Process Leadership:

  • Architect and execute innovative IHB data and process strategies.

  • Integrate strategy and design across all activity streams identifying interconnectivity with related workstreams and collaborating to shape design direction.

Project Management

  • Develop and execute the model for monitoring the Treasury digital core program including reviews, tracking, documentation, risk mitigation, resource planning and communication.

  • Ensure all components of the program operating model are clearly defined and run according to the project charter.

Process Quality and Alignment:

  • Pioneer data cleansing, alignment, migration, and enrichment efforts.

  • Institute and enforce data standards, ensuring compliance and high quality.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Engage Treasury and Business stakeholders for alignment and validation of data and process needs.

  • Create and operate the communication plan across all functions and entities impacted by the project.

• Drive strategic change, aligning needs with data harmonization efforts across the total Mars Enterprise.
