Project Manager/ Reliability Engineer

Location: Plymouth (Onsite)

Salary: £58,000-£68,000 + Bonus + Benefits

As a Project Manager/Reliability Engineer working in our Wrigley factory you will apply your technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving skills to improve processes/equipment as well as advocate and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree in Engineering or relevant experience.
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Project Management experience delivering capital projects.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Improve safety, food safety, and efficiency metrics, reduce maintenance costs, and technician time through reliability data analysis and improvement projects.
  • Develop and implement a maintenance strategy aligned with Mars Supply Excellence (MSE), including planned and predictive maintenance.
  • Manage reliability improvement initiatives with maintenance technicians and 3rd party vendors to reduce breakdowns.
  • Analyse reliability data and report on the impact of maintenance strategies and improvements on factory performance.
  • Support Site Asset Health Check process, ensuring compliance with regional requirements, eliminating obsolete equipment, and managing minor reliability improvement projects (up to 1M GBP).
  • In the first 12 months in the role, you will support the changing in the engineering outlook and drive preventative management.
