• Shifts - 12 hours, combination of days and nights (4 on,5 off,3 on,1 off,3 on,5 off) excluding Friday and Saturday nights

• Permanent

We now have several Production Operator opportunities to join the Mars Food team at our Kings Lynn site. The Operator will operate machinery within a specified area; to optimise efficiency, product quality, safety and maintain a professional, clean manufacturing environment to work in.

Without, the hard work of our production team our product would never be able to reach the market, so the production operator role is crucial to the business!

What are we looking for?

• Experience in a factory environment as machine operator or FLT driver or similar, desirable

• Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to work collaboratively with colleagues.

• Able to accurately update data via computerised systems

• Good quality and safety awareness

• Excellent attention to detail with focus on continuous improvement initiatives

• Positive, can-do attitude

What will be your key responsibilities?

• The efficient operation of plant and machinery on their line in accordance with standard operating procedures.

• Ensure comprehensive records and logs are maintained and effective shift handovers are carried out.

• Regular quality checks to ensure we are producing first class products.

• Identification and resolution of basic faults in processes or machines in your area

• Accurate recording of data
