Production Lead ​- Mars Wrigley Plymouth - Weekend shift

£50,341.68 (Base pay + Shift allowance) + Company bonus

Weekend Shift 29 hours - Sat/Sun - (6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am) rotating plus 5 additional hours (Flexible)

Here at Mars we now have an exciting opportunity for a Production Lead to come and join our factory team! If you have a background in leadership within a manufacturing environment and are looking for the opportunity to take on new challenges whilst also being given the chance to develop and progress personally then look at the below:

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in leadership within a manufacturing environment is essential.

  • Experience in an FMCG or high-speed production environment.

  • SAP literacy is desirable, or a good ability to learn new systems

  • Good understanding and knowledge of Microsoft based systems.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Handover with incoming and outgoing Production Leads

  • Organize shift manning, (lunch breaks & cover)

  • Planning Meeting attendance, and regular connections with Scheduling Department

  • Production Technical Operator

  • Regular and Team Leader cover

  • Standards check (GMP, CL, CIL, Shadow/Tool boards, 5S)

  • Escalations, Safety & Quality, update systems as required

  • End of shift handover report

  • Holiday bookings and management

  • Management of Purchase orders (Equipment, Tools, Training, Services)

  • Cover other roles as per business requirements
