An exciting opportunity exists to join the UK & I Marketing team in the role of Portfolio Director. In this role you will be responsible for leading Gum and Fruity Confections, overseeing a diverse portfolio of brands including Extra®, Airwaves ®, Hubba Bubba®, Skittles®, and Starburst ®. The team have successfully delivered double digit Gum and Fruity confections growth for the last 3 years and we are looking for someone with great business and people leadership skills to continue this growth agenda.

This role can be based in Slough or Dublin

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in demand roles (marketing, sales, category, SRM)
  • Capable of developing and deploying strategy into action.
  • Excellent Stakeholder management skills and the ability to network
  • Ability to set and achieve goals and manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (oral and written)
  • Experienced in creating and leading effective teams
  • Ability to create strong relationships across internal departments and external partners

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Develop and deploy the multi-year gum and fruity confections value creation plans for UK&I, leading cross functional teams. Working in close collaboration with regional teams, and feeding back market insights to sharpen strategy
  • Deliver the annual financial targets for the cell in the UK & I cluster, including working within the S&OP process to course correct in year if needed
  • Accountable for execution of the Media & Content transformation in UK & I by deploying regional and global best practices and localising where required
  • 5 year brand plans to deliver against segment and business growth agenda – top line and bottom line
  • Supervise deployment of brand look and feel in own market
  • Lead a team of 5 direct reports to deliver outstanding results & learns & grow
  • Prioritize customer market strategies to drive the most profitable initiatives
