One of the 5 strategic priorities for Petcare Digitization at Scale is Protecting Operational Imperatives to ensure a resilient, secure, efficient and compliant operation across Petcare. Despite the many business transformations occurring in the coming years, POI remains a key priority for the DTLT and, indeed, the PLT for the business of today and tomorrow. This role will pull together the POI Portfolio agenda across the BCM & Resiliency organization, Information Technology & Data Privacy and GDO Digital Operations.
This role sits within the Petcare DT Portfolio Management Office organisation, helping to provide consistency of practice across the Segment and its Divisions while being 100% dedicated to the POI Orchestration lead and fully embedded in their teams and Organization.
What are we looking for?
Significant prior experience in Digital, business partnership or business process management roles
An understanding of operational business risk
Broad understanding of the Mars business, Digital strategies and how technology is used to impact and enhance the business
Strong project/portfolio management skills with familiarity in a variety of tools and techniques
Strong business process/ways of working design and implementation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as sound interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and high attention to detail, including experience with data and analytics solutions
Ability to positively influence associates by managing work through others
Must be customer-focused with a demonstrated ability to form productive relationships with a wide constituency, including the ability to influence senior business leaders, Digital team members and project leaders
What will be your key responsibilities?
Lead the preparation and facilitation of executive business leadership forums periodically to drive the POI change agenda.
Partner with the Petcare DT and Petcare dedicated GDO Leaders to ensure the broad portfolio of change is accurately captured and managed against agreed governance to help drive value for the Division
Manage the progress of the Petcare BCM & Resiliency deployment roadmap
Facilitates Mars signature annual strategic business planning processes (IVCP and AEP), consulting with Divisional DT leaders to align business needs and targets with clear agreed strategic outcomes
Works with the Transformation Programme PMO Leader to ensure the holistic DT change agenda is represented for the Division in key forums
Partner with POI Leaders (including Petcare BCM & Resiliency Directors, Info-Sec & Data Privacy Leads, and GDO Digital Operations Leads to ensure segment demand meets quality assurance and compliance standards are met both at the individual initiative level and at a globally rolled-up level
Supports the wider Petcare DT Portfolio Management Office team to improve portfolio process and ways of working across the segment
Leads the implementation and change management of portfolio management improvements to the Division, e.g. Benefits Management or Risk Management.
