Job Description:

Role Purpose: Responsible for the functional S2P data on the Digital Core project. The MGS S2P Vendor Master Data Lead works closely with the Directs and Indirects GPO’s, the Business Transformation Process Lead and Business and Systems Integrators, and Digital Core Master Data team to ensure the master data supports the future-fit end-to-end process design, enabled by core and edge systems.

Key Responsibilities

Global Template Design

  • Lead Vendor Master data - Design / Deployment for MGS-S2P

  • Provide detailed L4/5 detailed end to end knowledge of the Vendor Master data usage and structure for S2P across Mars applications and processes

  • Prepare for and attend relevant workshops (A, B, C)

  • Attend and support Post workshop activities (A, B, C) - follow up meetings, etc

  • Own and resolve actions from workshops in relevant functional area

  • Support and advise segments during workshops D and E

  • Ensure Vendor data is correct throughout E2E process and edge systems

  • Identify and advise on change impacts

  • Support development of training materials

  • Support preparation of test materials (scenarios, dates, expected results)

  • Support data identification, cleansing, issue resolution

  • Support segment deployments of Vendor Master Data and processes

Country Validation

  • Build country understanding of the data model needed for the global template

Project Management:

  • Work with the PMO to develop, deliver and manage the activity plan to ensure delivery to time, quality and budget

  • Propose and instigate corrective actions to course correct, escalating for support in a timely manner where required

Team Leadership:

  • Supports the E2E Transformation Lead and PMO in leading a multi-functional team covering all aspects of transformation, to include for example, onboarding, roles & responsibilities, supporting/coaching, issue resolution, offboarding, handover, ways of working

Key deliverables

  • Business scenarios identified

  • The design (flows and narratives) and documentation relating to vendor master data fit for purpose and ready for sign off

  • Holistic assessment of Change Impacts on the S2P master data area and implications incorporated into Design and/or Deployment

  • Test of vendor master data for global template (for selected scenarios)

Skills and Knowledge

  • Detailed understanding of Vendor master data

  • Working knowledge of MDG and front-end data tools (e.g., HICX)

  • Project management experience

  • Strong communicator, written and verbal (English speaking)
