The Job:
The purpose of this role is to turn data into information and information into insights to enable improvements to our manufacturing performance. The role will provide data analytics services in the form of reports, dashboards, in depth analysis, investigations and data platforms to support the SLO factory. The role will be leading a data transformation onsite, and you can consider the role has four elements:

Transformation: Leading Data: Leading data transformation in SLO through reviewing current practices and transforming into industry best practices for data analytics. Data owner: holding the keys to the data that is available onsite, being accountable for defining the data, validation of data and storage of the data. Provide KPIs and their evaluation to support the Value Streams in achieving the short- and long-term business objectives in line with the Site strategy. Technical & Functional: Pioneering ways on site for how to make this data available to the site, the leadership team, and other stakeholders (regional and global) when required Systems owner: day to day basis, owning system strategy & development & implementation

The role will require the candidate to be onsite as part of a flexible working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

Bring energy, knowledge and innovation to carry out the following:

  • Own performance data (drive action, storage, building capabilities)
  • Turn large amounts of raw data into actionable insights
  • Working with manufacturing teams to understand, collect and utilise multiple data sources
  • Work directly with the site to, design, build and deploy dashboards and reporting tools (for example, PowerBI)
  • Guide, train and support site on using dashboard and tools
  • Driving a data driven culture
  • Ability to interact and communicate with various teams, at all levels of the organization
  • Support and challenge senior management with insights and operational reports
