Logistics Project Manager

Mars is seeking a dynamic Logistics Project Manager to oversee complex projects, implement cost-saving initiatives, and lead a small, high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Coordination

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of logistics and supply chain projects within agreed timelines.

  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.

  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Align internal and external stakeholders on project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Leverage data and analytics to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.

Team Leadership and Line Management

  • Manage and mentor a small team of logistics professionals, ensuring alignment with project objectives and company goals.

  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture.

  • Provide coaching, training, and career development opportunities for team members.

  • Conduct performance reviews and set clear objectives to support professional growth.

  • Delegate tasks effectively and support team members in achieving their goals.

What Are We Looking For?

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in logistics, supply chain management, or project management.

  • FMCG experience is preferred.

  • Prior experience in team leadership or line management within a logistics setting is advantageous.

Skills:

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Data analysis and trend identification to inform decision-making and drive improvements.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
