What are we looking for?

We are looking for a talented Learning Instructional Designer to create modern and impactful learning solutions in our extensive learning portfolio. This role will contribute to the design and development of learning experiences, create learning solutions’ assets, and curate content to enhance the overall learning journey for Mars associates.

  • Instructional Design: Solid understanding of foundational instructional design concepts and adult learning principles to create effective and engaging learning experiences.

  • Experienced User of Learning Design Technology: Proficiency in using learning design tools such as Articulate 360, Captivate, SharePoint authoring tools, and multimedia editing software (e.g., video editors like Motion, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro) to develop interactive learning content.

  • LMS and LXP Setup: Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and experience in setting up learning programs and managing learning content. Ideally, familiarity with platforms like Workday.

  • Visual Design and Graphic Communications: Ability to apply visual design principles to create visually appealing and engaging learning assets that captivate learners' attention.

  • Community Management (preferred): Basic understanding of community management concepts to foster engagement and facilitate discussions within online learning communities.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Work in tandem with the other experts in the Learning team to ideate, plan, and execute Learning Experience (LX) solutions for projects and CI initiatives.

  • Ensure alignment with learning objectives and collaborate effectively during the ideation and planning phases.

  • Utilize strong instructional design principles to design and develop learning assets for learning experiences, content curation projects, and CI initiatives.

  • Craft engaging and effective learning assets that cater to diverse learning styles and preferences.

  • Leverage various learning design technology tools to create interactive, visually appealing, and highly effective learning content.

  • Work across teams in learning organization to final assets design is comparable with existing learning technology, ensuring seamless delivery of learning content and accurate tracking of learner progress.

  • Apply visual design principles to enhance the aesthetic appeal and user experience of learning assets.

  • Utilize graphic communication skills to convey complex information in a visually engaging manner.

  • Possess basic community management skills to foster learner engagement, facilitate discussions, and cultivate a collaborative learning environment (optional)
