This role is responsible for achieving profitable sales growth through creating and executing business plans within the LAR’s EDC & SEASONAL segments, which currently contributes over £56m NSV to the total MWC business and CBU in 2023. The NSV contribution is estimated at £90m NSV by 2025.
What are we looking for?
Experience: Customer management experience in Top 4 Grocers or LAR’s is preferable; experience in customer sell in and negotiation processes, knowledge of Mars processes, data and insight literate.
Relevant Competencies: Business Acumen, Perspective, Problem Solving, Drive for Results, Dealing with Ambiguity.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- This is a major trading role that will give the job holder real freedom and accountability for decision-making; the Associate will contribute significantly to the total delivery of the LAR’s KPIs as well as the wider Discounter team.
- Accountable for delivery of 2023 targets of £56m NSV
- Understands the customer environment e.g. external trends, competitors and customers current and future needs which is leveraged to build shopper centric customer plans which drive mutual growth.
- Delivering a Best In Class Customer Experience to the LAR’s trading team; understanding their strategy and KPIs, how to grow their category and making it easy for them to do business with us.
