Reporting to the Global Tax Digital Transformation Lead the Indirect Tax Digital Transformation Lead role is instrumental in the SAP S4 Hana and Edge systems transformation as part of a Global Digital Core Transformation Program. This role is transformation-funded and therefore has an expected end date of December 31, 2026.

What are we looking for?

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 8+ years of experience in business enterprise technologies and program management focused on Indirect Tax (Sales & Use Tax, VAT) ERP and supporting Technologies.

  • Foundational Tax knowledge of core Tax processes, specialized in Indirect Tax, government reporting, and US and Non-US processes and enterprise ERP (SAP, Oracle) and Edge technologies (e.g. OneSource, Vertex)

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence and navigate complex challenges

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Establish and orchestrate the Enterprise Digital Core program for Indirect Tax including stakeholder management, work stream reviews and tracking, documentation, risk identification & mitigation, resource planning and communication across the Tax function to ensure strong integration across all activity streams and interconnectivity with related program and stakeholder forums

  • Collate the design decision for Global Process Owner sign off and support delivery of key design decisions with BI and SI support to design, build, and test S4 Hana and Edge Systems

  • Ensure all components of the program operating model (e.g. program steering groups, capability stream forums, progress reporting) are clearly defined and run according to the designed protocols with clear inputs, outcomes and decisions

  • Lead with purpose detailed design activity for the Tax function as we progress the enterprise transformation

  • Establish and own a central program knowledge base, covering all aspects of the program so that reliable information is easily accessible to all members of the program team

  • Create and operate the stakeholder engagement strategy and communication plan across all entities touched by the program
