Mars Pet Nutrition is embarking on an exciting journey to build a digital-first strategic revenue management team and capabilities that will enable our purpose of making a better world for pets. Mars is placing a significant bet on SRM across the enterprise and is making significant investment in people, capabilities, and digital resources to deliver best in class strategic revenue management fueled growth!

This role focuses against:

  • Develop TPM ambition and transformation scope to enable Pet Nutrition SRM and Trade governance ambition.
  • Execute assessment of as-is TPM capability mapping, gaps, opportunities, and priorities for future TPM processes and technology product deployment
  • Develop ambitious product delivery roadmaps for PN OEs/Markets.
  • Develop TPM benefits business case to secure transformation funding through Pet Nutrition Digital First Transformation budget.
  • Lead 12-week TPM assessment in partnership with external third party to determine:
    • Program structuring and current state
    • Market archetypes and to-be digital capability map
    • Key decision designs
    • Transformation and end state organization design
    • Value case and development roadmap
  • Lead multi-year TPM system implementation in partnership with OE SRM, Finance, Sales, and DT teams.
  • Develop Associate capability upskilling program to support successful roll-out of TPM in all OEs
  • Connect TPM reporting into SRM 360 analytics platform
  • Track TPM products’ user experience, user and stakeholder satisfaction level

As the leader of the SRM Trade Promotion Management product, the role collaborates closely with GMs, Sales Heads, CFOs, local SRM and Sales Finance leaders to deliver TPM implementation and value creation plan in OEs

Context and Scope

  • This role will work across Mars Pet Nutrition and collaborate closely with business and technology Senior Leadership to ensure shift to best-in-class operating model for Trade Promotion Management capabilities.
  • Scope of the role to include:
  • TPM product Portfolio vision across Trade Planning and Execution business capabilities
  • TPM Product Delivery Organization built
  • Senior Stakeholder Alignment and Communication
  • TPM Product Delivery KPIs and Benefits
  • User Adoption and Satisfaction measures
  • This role interacts and aligns across all functions of the organization to drive the full execution of trade promotion management system software. This role will collaborate with senior global stakeholders and OE General Manager + Leadership team to deliver enterprise internal and external KPIs.
  • Influencing and Stakeholder management are critical to the success of this role.
  • This role will require strong collaboration of across Regional CIO Organization and Global Product DT, D&A and business teams.
