Digital Commerce (DCom) is set to represent 35%+ of all CPG sales in the not-too-distant future and is a must-win channel. Mars Wrigley has an ambition to more than triple its DCom business over the coming years and igniting growth in the On-Demand Delivery space is one of the strategic opportunities we will capitalize on to help us achieve this lofty goal.

To enable our ambition, we’ve created a Global Center of Acceleration (CoA) that works together with markets, regions, and cross-functional partners to develop strategies and plans to fuel faster growth.

As the Senior Global Manager of On-Demand Delivery, you will:

• Lead the execution plans to build a high growth $1B+ business.

• Partner with 25+ markets and our most strategic customers via global JBPs.

• Serve as a go-to-expert on all things On-Demand Delivery at Mars Wrigley.

• Be part of a team that is pioneering the future of retail and having fun doing it!

What are we looking for?

  • Track record of successfully scaling an on-demand delivery business.

  • Proven success in key account management and customer collaboration.

  • Experience building processes, playbooks, and tools to inspire A+ execution.

  • Confident and compelling communicator with strong writing and presentation skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a large, matrixed organization with complex stakeholder groups including a global-regional-local operating model.

Education & Professional Qualification

  • University Degree or equivalent, or equivalent experience

  • Strong experience in FMCG/CPG with specialization in digital including proven success in DCom sales.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Customer

  • Lead day-to-day engagement and delivery of joint business plans with global strategic partners, including Uber & Delivery Hero, to accelerate worldwide growth.

  • Spearhead readiness for quarterly business reviews, executive leadership meetings, and business development engagements.

  • Assist sell-in and activation of integrated brand experiences and innovation opportunities with the Uber & Delivery Hero product and program teams.

  • Drive 3-way opportunity with Restaurants vertical and arm local account teams with how-to-win guidance, with focus on scaling the partnership with McDonald’s and priority QSR chains.

  • Advocate for frontline Mars DCom sales teams through escalation of operational challenges to enable root cause analysis and solutions.

  • Own business performance analysis and commentary using internal & customer dashboards.

Capability

  • Build on the Mars center of acceleration for On-Demand Delivery to win at scale by codifying global repeatable models and best practice across joint business planning, data & insights, performance marketing, digital merchandising, and more.

  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional partners to improve visibility to On-Demand Delivery performance and key business drivers (availability/distribution, digital shelf, sell-out, etc.).

  • Participate in sprints to develop global capabilities, tools, tech and trainings.

Community

  • Run the internal global community of practice to cross-pollinate learnings & repeatable models.

  • Lead upskill workshops with Customer teams in the Regions & Markets to drive enhanced performance and grow our partnership with local customer contacts.

  • Maintain global On-Demand Delivery knowledge management hub.
