The Global Process Owner – Order to Cash will be responsible for establishing and driving the global strategy for the Order to Cash process with the goal of defining a globally standardized process for OTC. This initiative aims to enable Mars to realize efficiencies while ensuring accuracy and control. In this capacity, as a GPO you will own and define enterprise-wide standards for the process, establish the metrics that matter for the process, and drive the transformational agenda globally to achieve stated goals.

You will oversee a team of Associates globally, directly engaging with our MGSF Operations, MGSF Outsourcing provider, and Mars Segments. It holds a strategic nature, necessitating thought leadership and collaboration with internal stakeholders.

What are we looking for?

  • Completion of an Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or Finance Professional Certification, such as CA or CPA, and/or a master's degree

  • At least 15 years of extensive domain experience in accounting/finance, specifically within Order to Cash processes, with a preference for prior roles as a Global Process Owner.

  • Direct experience in Shared Services environments and/or with BPO service providers is mandatory, along with global exposure and understanding of regional and country-level nuances.

  • Preferential consideration for candidates with real-time experience in SAP Finance module and previous involvement in implementing SAP 4/Hana in a CPG environment.

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with bolt-on tools in the OTC space, such as High Radius and Trade Promotion Management systems etc.

  • Prior success in leading transformational programs or enterprise-wide change initiatives.

  • Experience in managing teams, including global and remote management.

  • Proficiency in the English language is required.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Assume global ownership for formulating strategy, designing processes, and overseeing the implementation of digital, re-engineering, and innovation projects across Order to Cash processes.

  • Make decisions on delivery model strategies for processes, collaborating with broader leadership teams on location and sourcing strategies (Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) versus captive).

  • Identify, strategize, and implement transformation projects to meet desired objectives.

  • Define and maintain the process and control standards documentation for Order to Cash (O2C), including building process-level controls based on Internal Controls Excellence (ICE) control guidance and any additional controls, such as the identification of automated controls.

  • Drive process standardization through enterprise design across geographies at the Mars Inc level, making decisions on where customizations are permissible and overseeing implementation through indirect teams.

  • Defining the entire end-to-end business process and supporting technology, collaborating with wider MGSF, Controllership, DT, and the Segments.
