Finance Business Partner- Drinks & Treats

Fixed Term Contract for 12 Months

Location: Slough/Maidenhead, UK- Hybrid Working- 50%

Salary: £66,000-£81,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Drinks & Treats, are a £150m division of Mars Wrigley UK, drives growth for brands in adjacent categories like hot chocolate, ice cream, and cakes.

As Finance Business Partner, you'll support cross-functional teams managing business units with annual sales of £10-£25m, working closely with section heads to develop financial roadmaps and growth pipelines. You will be guiding business review meetings, influencing pricing decisions, driving profit improvements, and reporting on performance. You'll collaborate on Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) forecasting, escalate insights, and ensure accurate accounting and compliance. You'll also manage relationships with distributors and suppliers and support broader Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) processes, digital reporting, and technical leadership as needed.

What are we looking for?

  • Fully qualified accountant with relevant professional qualification.
  • Proven experience in accounting, including technical accounting and business partnering roles.
  • Strong business acumen and decision-making skills to support the operationalization of new business ventures.
  • Familiarity with digital reporting tools is an advantage.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Act as the Service & Finance representative on cross-functional teams managing business streams of £10-£25m+, leading the delivery of the Economic Profit growth roadmap.
  • Provide financial input, challenge growth initiatives, and escalate key decisions to senior management to support business strategy.
  • Develop financial analysis skills within cross-functional teams, promoting understanding of financial levers to support agile decision-making.
  • Monitor and report on business section performance, ensuring accuracy in accounting, control of trade spend budgets, and managing period-end provisions.
  • Lead forecast submissions for Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) cycles, ensuring efficient and effective cross-functional collaboration in forecasting and supply chain setup.
  • In the first 12 months we would like you to have developed a good understanding of Drinks and Treats/Mars UK while developing your network.
