Segment : MGS

Contract Type : Permanent

At Mars, we are setting bold goals: to serve 35 million pets and achieve $7 billion in net sales value by 2025. To achieve this, we are undertaking the largest transformation in our history, redefining how we operate and deliver value through the implementation of SAP S/4 and SAP HANA.

As ERP Transformation Lead, you will be at the forefront of this groundbreaking initiative, shaping the core systems and processes that will drive our future. This isn’t about refining what exists, it’s about designing and building entirely new solutions. You’ll lead the effort to standardize business processes, define guardrails for development, and ensure every decision supports scalability, operational excellence, and long-term value.

This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to join Mars’ most ambitious program yet, where your expertise will directly impact how we transform our systems, empower growth, and shape the future of pet nutrition.

What are we looking for?

  • You have at least 5 years of experience, with a track record of success showcasing your versatility and growth.

  • You bring hands-on experience with SAP solutions, and familiarity with SAP S/4 is a strong advantage.

  • You have senior-level development experience, understanding the full lifecycle of code creation — from writing and documenting to handing over to support teams. While the programming language is flexible, you’re comfortable with the discipline of development.

  • You have a flexible educational background that complements your technical expertise.

  • You are fluent in English and French, enabling you to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

  • You are eager to learn, grow, and develop new skills, with strong communication and networking abilities to influence and inspire others.

What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Drive ERP Design and Build: Lead the design and delivery of the ERP transformation across regions and functions, collaborating with Royal Canin/Pet Nutrition Functional Experts and Functional Leads to ensure alignment with business needs and strategic objectives.

  • Incorporate Industry Best Practices: Leverage insights from vendors, analysts, and peer companies to integrate best practices and emerging trends into scalable business transformation initiatives within the SAP S/4 context.

  • Define and Implement Development Methodologies: Establish robust development methodologies tailored to the ERP transformation, ensuring they align with organizational needs and drive consistency across projects.

  • Collaborate with Functional Teams: Partner closely with functional experts to understand requirements, ensure alignment, and deliver methodologies that support successful ERP implementation.

  • Build and Maintain Knowledge Resources: Develop and sustain comprehensive documentation, training materials, and knowledge repositories to support the adoption and effective use of ERP systems and methodologies.

  • Enable Adoption and Capability Building: Provide guidance and training to functional teams, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems, processes, and tools while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Continuously monitor and evaluate industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep methodologies and tools innovative and effective.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to optimize development methods and tools, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness throughout the ERP transformation journey.
