Are you a Commercial and/or Inbound Supply professional with a passion for driving value through process design and technology? We are seeking a Mars associate to join the EOS program and build our next generation Procurement processes and digital capabilities, working on our global business transformation that contributes to Royal Canin's Purpose: A BETTER WORLD FOR PETS. Working on the transformation will allow you to drive strategic initiatives that will revolutionize the way we do business.

What are we looking for?

  • Business or Engineering School Degree
  • + 10 years’ experience in Commercial and Inbound Supply roles

    Deep expertise in procurement operations, ideally built both at Royal Canin and across other Mars divisions, or from previous roles at other companies

  • Knowledge and interest for process design and process improvement

  • Experience working with distributed multi-cultural teams

  • Knowledge of the Royal Canin ERP ecosystem and/or knowledge of SAP

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Owns the Royal Canin global Direct Purchasing end-to-end processes.
  • Works with the MDM vendor domain owner, providing functional inputs, to build the direct vendors data model.
  • Has direct accountability for process design and for building system capabilities to efficiently run procurement operations, as well as supporting regional EOS deployments.
  • Partners with Royal Canin business stakeholders to capture and document pain points, functional gaps and business requirements, informing fit-for-purpose process modeling.
  • Partners with a wide range of stakeholders across Mars segments and corporate functions to drive the design, development and configuration of standard best-practice global business capabilities.
  • Orchestrates EOS template design/build activities with the program business and system integrators to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Provides guidance and functional expertise for the functional area in scope.
  • Ensures new template solutions are fully tested and signed off.
  • Ensures knowledge of new processes Is effectively transferred to the trainers In charge of end user training and works with the EOS Change Experience Management team to support change management activities and drive adoption of new system capabilities.
