Job Purpose/Overview

The Enterprise Analytics Manager plays a pivotal role in enabling data-driven decision-making by transforming financial data to empower the organization to generate actionable insights. As a key member of the FinTech Insights & Reporting team, this role focuses on designing advanced reporting solutions, managing digital product portfolios, and collaborating with stakeholders to provide the tools and frameworks needed for strategic decision-making, supporting Mars' digital transformation journey.

Context and Scope

The Enterprise Analytics Manager is a Product Owner to bridge technical and business perspectives, ensuring alignment & collaboration to deliver impactful digital solutions. This role requires sophisticated problem-solving, independent decision-making, and finance expertise to translate complex business challenges into digital solutions that empower the enterprise to gain actionable insights. Collaborating closely with stakeholders across all levels the candidate builds trust through open communication and alignment on priorities. Within the Insights & Reporting team, the candidate collaborates across sub-teams to ensure data governance, process synergy, and adherence to enterprise goals. Using agile methodologies, they guide projects through iterative development while balancing conflicting priorities in a fast-changing environment. A passion for continuous learning and innovation ensures digital solutions remain relevant and drives excellence in delivering value to the organization.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Drive alignment among key stakeholders/product champions across the organization to identify and prioritize business problems that can be addressed through digital solutions.
  • Customer Centric Curiosity: Deeply understand stakeholder needs, uncover underlying challenges, align on solution priorities, and drive user-focused problem-solving and innovation. Facilitate training sessions to empower end-users and promote solution adoption.
  • Product Backlog Management: Translate business needs into user stories, maintain a well-organized product backlog, and collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize based on business impact. Take ownership of existing solutions when necessary and ensure their seamless execution.
  • Agile Product Development: Partner with product development teams to guide solutions through Define, Build, Deploy, and Support stages using iterative delivery of agile methodologies. Collaborate with teams to resolve incidents & requests efficiently, while consistently meeting deadlines in high-pressure environments.
  • Product Ownership: Owns a portfolio of digital solutions at various stages of development (Run/Innovate/Transform), to ensure alignment with enterprise goals & deliver excellent user experience.
  • Business Value Enablement: Serve as a bridge between financial data and business value by enabling advanced reporting solutions that empower the enterprise to make data-driven decisions. Adapt and evolve reporting solutions to meet changing business requirements.
  • Finance Expertise and Process Optimization: Apply deep Finance expertise and process optimization skills to influence and shape business rules, logic, and workflows, driving efficiency and supporting digital transformation initiatives.
  • Continuous Learning & Innovation: Stay informed & curious about emerging technologies and innovative practices to continuously upskill. Foster a mindset of exploration & improvement to identify better ways of delivering value and driving product excellence.

What are we looking for?

Education & Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Finance, with deep subject matter expertise in one or several areas of Finance within a Mars-comparable industry and/or group.
  • Experience in applying and facilitating User Centric Design Thinking to solve problems.
  • Deep finance expertise and business acumen
  • Solid financial working knowledge and business acumen.
  • Strong communication, partnering, and presentation skills
  • Proficient In Microsoft Office Suite (incl. Excel/PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and familiarity with ERP systems, working with large/diverse data sets to enable advanced reporting solutions. Programming is a plus.

  • Product Ownership experience and knowledge of Agile.
  • Independent problem solver with proven experience in business process optimization.
  • General digital awareness/literacy.
  • Ability to drive adoption of digital tools via change management, communication & upskilling associates.
  • High self-learning agility and is a proactive self-starter that is comfortable with minimum guidance.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the below range, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay & general allowances (depending on the position and employee’s work schedule). Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable policies and plans then in effect, and depending on the position offered and the employee’s work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule), eligible employees are automatically enrolled in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents, and may be eligible to take up to 18 weeks of paid parental leave. Employees will also receive the following paid-time off (which may be prorated based on start date and the employee’s work schedule): 120 hours of vacation per year, paid sick time for eligible Associates of 100% pay continuation for a maximum of 40 hours per calendar year, and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year that include both fixed and flexible holidays.
