Corporate Quality Data and Insights Manager (Flexible to Mars Location)
The Corporate Quality Data and Insights Manager is a new role that will focus on consolidating cross segment and cross functional quality data to generate insights and predict trends. It will connect with different data generators to ensure the quality of the data and validate the insights. The role will be a critical connector to collect this information and test hypothesis within different groups. It will be a critical feeder for Quality Leadership Teams conversation on risks analysis and mitigation programs. The role will be a key element supporting Quality digitalization strategy.
The role can be performed remote within any MARS location.
What are we looking for?
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent in a science field, preferably food safety science, data analytics or medical science
Minimum of 8 years relevant work experience.
Demonstrated experience of Food Safety and Quality.
Proven data technology and data analytics experience
Strong knowledge of metrics, statistics and reporting methods
Experience with IT systems and Dashboards. Ability to work with multiple systems/dashboards and interpret data.
Ability to connect information and generate hypothesis.
Cross Functional experience (R&D, Supply, Commercial, Activity Management) including different segments or divisions in FMCG industry.
Demonstrable record of successful project team leadership, ability to motivate and engage superior and peers.
Strong planning and project management skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines and change management of business processes.
Ability to maintain composure under pressure and communicate escalations and risk clearly to multiple stakeholders.
Ability to travel globally and flex hours to support global communities.
Fluent in English with strong oral and written communication skills
What will be your key responsibilities?
Lead cross-segment process for data analysis to generate insights and action plans, integrated with the HQRM process.
Lead the process for cross segment data analysis to assess risks and predict trends
Provide support to HQRM identified corporate risks and where appropriate link with action plans.
Govern progress of identified action plans and report to quality leadership teams.
Lead the process to integrate Corporate Q&FS digital and data priorities with RD Systems team to ensure alignment.
Lead data quality and metrics feedback from Corporate Q&FS team to R&D Systems to ensure continuous improvement.
Lead cross-segment and cross functional Data analysis and insights generation community of practice.
Ensure the proper connection with Q&FS standards and processes owners to leverage from the insight's generation and trends assessment.
