Cocoa Price Risk Manager

Mars is seeking a Cocoa Price Risk Manager to develop and execute cocoa price risk strategies, including managing derivatives positions. Reporting to the Head of Commodity Price Risk Management, this role plays a critical part in navigating a dynamic and volatile market.

What We’re Looking For?

  • Significant experience in commodity/currency trading, research, or price risk management.

  • Demonstrable experience with futures and options.

  • Strong analytical skills and a results-driven approach.

  • Experience in cocoa or other soft commodities preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, supply chain, mathematics, or related field.

What will be your key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for effective cocoa price risk management.

  • Execute derivative positions, ensuring governance and compliance.

  • Manage futures, options, and over-the-counter transactions.

  • Support cocoa market research efforts to enhance insights.

  • Gather and share market intelligence to inform global decision-making.

  • Ensure compliance with commodity controls and financial reporting.
