In this role you will act as the brand custodian in the European region with responsibility and accountability to lead the Italian Category including the critically important Dolmio Strategic Cell. The successful candidate will lead the Italian marketing regional team to develop and deploy the brand growth strategy and marketing activity – in line with Global guidelines and framework. This role will lead the cross-region marketing team including 3 direct reports to deliver the above areas and be directly responsible for the delivery of Italian category across F&N Europe including: Dolmio: UK, Ireland and Nordics & Miracoli: Germany, Belgium and Hungary.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • You will drive a compelling and engaging brand vision and strategy in collaboration with global brand team by using global growth strategy and translating into regional strategy.
  • You will leverage barriers to penetration and flywheel to identify, develop and deploy the regional growth strategy for the brand.
  • You will create & execute overall Dolmio strategic cell growth plan in the region.
  • You will have shared accountability with the global team for regional brands execution across all touchpoints.
  • You will utilise global toolkits to create best in class execution in the region.
  • You will own overall brand budgets and allocation of funds for brand activities.
  • You will have P&L ownership for European region for Dolmio Brand inc Ready Meals and Miracoli Brand.

What are we looking for?

  • You experience of managing a brand across the flywheel in a local market (e.g. innovation development, copy development, EBAs etc.)
  • You will ideally have experience of managing direct reports, managing brands at a regional or multi-market level.
  • You will have experience working both strategically and with a hands-on approach to marketing, as this role offers significant autonomy
  • You will have a proven track record as a key leader in forums and leadership conversations.
  • You will have significant experience in a consumer goods business with strong marketing management experience.
  • Required: Graduate calibre brand champion, with significant experience in a blue chip
