Team Lead (Senior Manager) - Electrical & Automation Fleet System Design.

A fantastic opportunity to be part of the industry-leading organization, and play a key role in various strategic projects including Newbuilding and retrofit of existing fleet in line with Maersk decarbonization strategy.

We are looking for an engaged and collaborative senior manager to lead our Electrical & Automation systems design team. The core deliverables of the team are to innovate, design and support the integrity of the ocean assets. The key responsibility of this role is not only to lead a high performing team but to lead complex innovative projects and set priorities to enable electrification and automation of Maersk ocean assets.

You will join Fleet Technology,- a specialized maritime engineering competence center and report to Head of Electrical & Automation.

Key Responsibilities -

- You will lead a team of Marine Electrical engineers and help us to improve the way we work. We believe that we can always do better.

- You will be closely working with major suppliers, OEMs, regulatory partners, shipyards, and other external stakeholders to achieve various goals set out on projects supporting Fleet Management Technology strategy.

- You will be responsible for effectively collaborating with multiple teams located globally, including HQ in Denmark, Mumbai, Singapore and other locations.

- You will be directly responsible for developing and driving innovative solutions in Electrical & Automation domain

- You will review and refine existing strategies and team focus areas and define or accelerate critical strategic priorities.

Competencies & qualifications

· Strong technical skills with financial and business acumen. Understand and able to present techno-economical evaluation.

· Able to establish relation externally and internally within matrix organization and lead without authority

· Driven to lead the team to be “best in class”

· Substantial experience in maritime industries or similar is preferred.

· Experienced leadership in global organizations, inspiring & motivating colleagues

· Hands on experience and proven track record of managing complex innovative projects

· Outstanding presentation, reporting, communication and stakeholder management skills.

· Open-minded, strategic thinker
